At home with Søstrene Grene

Born in 1973 in Aarhus, Denmakr, Søstrene Grene is the project of two sisters, Anna and Clara 'able to find beauty and happiness in even the smalles of things'. Their aim was to 'share their excitement with the rest of the world'. Since May, the lovers of Danish design, followers of the principle of 'only buy what you want' can admire the minimalist products in the newest store in Germany, on Boulevard Berlin Shopping Center, in Steglitz.
First and foremost, the pastel colours are charming, creating a oasis of peace in every corner of the home. From pieces of furniture to decorations for special occasions, one can find many reasons to boost the mood without suffering financial breakdowns. Because the prices are more than convenient, with a 100-euro investment worth a couple of good things to take at home. For instance, a bowl costs 3.90 EUR., a carpet in various shades of grey 20.79 EUR., a medium-sized mirror 27.70 EUR., small shelves 9.74 EUR.. Given the low rates, it makes it a smart investment for someone moving to a completely new and empty place - this is how most apartment for rent are offered in Germany.
I personally loved the pastel painted small cups, so delicate and wellbeing-inducing. I was also happy with the friendly customer service, always ready to help and guide your choices. Although the shop looks a bit crowded and the space is filled with many products, I was able to browse the shelves and thing if I really need any of them, despite the good visual impressions. In the end, I was just happy to know that such a shop exist and keep it in mind for my next home purchases.

Interior design inspiration: Doğtaş Exclusive Shop in Berlin

Doğtaş Exclusive Shop in Berlin, and Germany, was opened relatively recently, on Lietzenburgerstrasse 69-71. It is situated very close to Fasanenstrasse and to the famous high-class shopping area of Ku'damm. The customer service is relatively friendly, helping you when you need more information, but not necessarily asking you if you really need something. The showroom occupies two stores, one being situated underground. In Turkey, the company was awarded the 'Most Accredited Brand of Furniture Sector' title two years in a row.
One think that I loved about this shop is the diversity of colours that embelish a choice of wood that otherwise looks cheap. First and foremost, the couches and little pillows are the patch of colour that change completely the entire room perspective. The white furniture is looking elegant, fit for modern tastes.
When looking through the original Turkish catalogues, I discovered a bigger choice of colours and wooden textures. This walnut wood living room table has upholstered chairs that look very comfy. Most furniture suits moderated-sized rooms, offering a good space management.
If you are a bit more pretentious when it comes to colours, you can find bed linen that are breaking up the monotony. The mattresses are designed according to the highest standards in terms of health and comfort.
Most room sets presented are organized around the concept of practicality: easy to move, not too complicated to use, user friendly modules, fitting various budgets and expectations. The natural wood gives a warm look to the room.
When looking at many bedrooms, especially at the beautiful carpets and comfy chairs, I could not stop thinking about the Oriental stories. And if you want to take your breakfast in bed, it's even more encouraging to tell even more stories.
Most closet do have metal handles, and are offered in a combination of mild colours.
The most colourful spaces are the children' rooms, although most of those I've seen are perfect only for girls. The pieces of furniture offer enough space to collect all the small and big items, without taking too much space from the room.
This is one of my favourite room combinations, not only because I love the blue colour. The twist between tobacco and white, plus the petrol blue of the chair with the elegant lines are part of a good combination. The modernist lamps is designed to occupy the minimum amount of space while offering a good lightning.
The comfy chairs can suit any space: from the kitchen to the bedroom, you can move them as often as possible when you need to relax.
With the help of some pieces of furniture, you can build a lot vertically, without charging the space and bringing together interesting pieces of furniture.
Without impressing me to tears, Doğtaş Exclusive Shop in Berlin has a lot of interesting and affordable options to be considered if one think about redesigning completely the house or simply adding more colour to the ambiance.

Interior design shop review: Lammfromm and Vogel, Berlin

Situated on Hohenzollerndamm 12 in Berlin, near the U-Bahn/metro station with the same name, this shop invites you in for a long and colourful journey.
From the very beginning, the window decorations called me in. Curtains with flowers and stylish birds, looking like escaped from a natural science book, or Asian motives are encouraging the imagination to run away till one will find his or her perfect house. Is too beautiful to miss, even though you might not be ready to dramatically change the style of your house.
With so many models and imprints, you may consider a very simple room decoration, with minimal furniture. The colourful joy brought in by the colours is enough.
The options are diverse and the big shop offers enough options for any style. From the big flowers, to some simple silk white curtains or some playful imprints for your children's room, everything is there. You need time to browse to the samples.
In case that a choice is difficult, the customer service is kind enough to help you.
The prices are starting from 100 Eur. and the curtains can be adjusted on place for answering your needs. Thus, before you leave the house, be sure that you have the dimensions you are looking for.
Everything looks high-class and elegance, style and perfection.
Some of them are so beautiful that I wish I can use them for a beautiful dress, or two, or more than two...Enough procrastination for now, let's plan a perfect Pesach house for now.
